Marco Srl was founded in Naples in 1970 by Antonio Sito, footwear representative of well-known brands such as Campanile, Cillo, Albano and Troise.
Thanks to the completely made in Italy manufacturing, made with fine products such as leather, suede, velvet, patent leather, the shop managed to win over a notable clientele in just a few years.
Antonio, while participating in the life of the shop in Naples, continues his work as a representative at the same time, traveling both in Italy and abroad. The continuous contact with numerous national and international companies allows him to always stay updated on news in the footwear sector and evaluate business opportunities elsewhere.
At the end of the 1980s this led him to strategically land in Milan, a city in strong ferment at the time like the whole Italian industrial triangle of the north-west where industrialization took hold between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century. on a large scale of the Italian economy.
In 1989, Antonio purchased the walls of a shop in Milan on Corso 22 Marzo, near the court, a quarter of an hour from the Duomo, an ideal location to break into this great metropolis.
He decides to close the Naples shop and entrust the reins of the Milan shop to his son Marco, while still maintaining a role of coordination and supervision of the business.
Today, the company boasts 4 stores in the shopping and busiest areas of the city: Via Borgogna, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via Dante and Corso Garibaldi.
